Guests on a Zimbabwe safari or holiday are urged not to wear or carry military-inspired clothing, while travelling in Zimbabwe. Please note that certain lodges in very remote areas may not have electricity or plug sockets in the rooms / tents.Money:It is not recommend to use credit cards in Zimbabwe. It is advised to pay in cash in US Dollars, Euro, Pound Sterling or South African Rand.
No traveller’s cheques are accepted in Zimbabwe.
ATM’s are scarce and all currency withdrawn from an ATM is in local currency at the official exchange rate. So it is strongly recommended that travellers on holiday in Zimbabwe do not rely on this option.
Zimbabwe Weather:The summer rainy season is from November to March. The best months to visit Zimbabwe is early or late winter - April to May and August to September. Winter days are between 15 and 25 degrees celcius, but night-time temperatures can drop much lower.When to visit Victoria Falls ?The best time to visit Victoria Falls totally depends on what you are are looking to do. The Victoria Falls look at their most impressive when the water is flowing well, however if you want to go closer to the falls and do more activities it would be better to visit when the falls have a low flow. An all round good time to visit is generally from July to September.
