The Zambian operators offer a trip in a 1940s two-seater de Havilland Tiger Moth with an open cockpit or a Pitts Special, fully aerobatic competition plane; the Zimbabwe side offers a more sedate experience in a conventional twin-engine aircraft.

Booking in advance is essential as flights are often scheduled specifically for clients.

Often referred to as “the Flight of Angels”, the light aircraft used have 5 passenger seats, each with its own window for beautiful views of the lush scenery and Victoria Falls.

Longer route options include ventures down stream over the Batoka Gorge or upstream for game viewing over the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

    • Flight of Angels is on a request basis
    • Fixed wing air charter is available
    • Flights range from 24 – 40 minutes
    • Subject to weather conditions

    Skydiving

For the real thrill seekers, skydiving for beginners as well as experienced jumpers is available on both sides of the river, in Zimbabwe and Zambia.

First-timers jump with an instructor, while those who’ve done this before are left to their own devices. Skydiving above the Falls is the ultimate way to view the area. As an added bonus, you get a free airplane tour of the Falls area as you ascend.
