The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 km upstream from Victoria Falls. The camp has a distinct Edwardian flavour and guests here enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds.
This Victoria Falls accommodation main building with its old style green roof, houses the dining room, well-stocked library and drawing room. It has card tables and board games, croquet lawn, a swimming pool on the edge of the cliff overlooking the river, night security guards, all pathways are lit and there are also fire hoses throughout and a curio shop.
Enjoy fishing and sundowner boat trips to islands in front of the lodge, canoe trips, visits to Musi-oa-Tunya National Park, Livingstone Museum, the Railway Museum, and the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, are all available to guests on your Victoria Falls holiday. Tours to nearby African villages and Stone Age sites are all included in the rates. Card tables and board games are found in River Club Lodges library and a croquet lawn stretches towards the river.
River Club meals are elegant affairs and are of an exceptionally high standard. The main feature of the dining room is a long teak table, surrounded by River Club Lodge's elegant high-backed chairs.
